Moving to Substack!

Hey there -

I'm interrupting your doom-scrolling and self-soothing internetting to let you know that I'll be posting my writing on a new Substack this year, and I'd love for you to join me there.

Rather than just export this entire list and shove you over there, I thought it'd be best for you to click a thing, remind the bots that you're alive, and confirm with me that you're still interested.

If you're not familiar with Substack, here's some of what I've learned as I've been looking into it:

• it was built for writers (though, like everyone, they're creeping into video and social-y things)
• you can easily be found by people already on the platform
• the writing gets delivered to your inbox (just like this!!), or you can use an app to read people you follow

Yes, there is a sponsorship or patron model, too. Which is appealing, not gone lie.

That said, I'm planning to keep my stories free for now as long as you read them within three months of publication. So, no pressure.

The goal here is to get more of my short stories out into the world. I'm also currently writing a novel and hope to share more of it there at a later date.

Will I share digital marketing tips and AI-related updates? Probably not.

Will I write commentary about the state of tech? Maybe someday.

But for now, it's speculative fiction in a super snackable size.
